Dog Training by East Van Dogs

East Van Dogs believes that effective training isn’t measured on how well your dog sits. Rather, it is demonstrated by the beautiful bond that is built when you and your dog take care of each other. We see dog training as a lot like relationship counselling. Most times we simply don’t understand what our dog needs, just as our dogs don’t understand what we need, either. You can cohabitate in harmony with your dog without bullying and without bribing.

Meet our Trainer Laura McAlduff

Laura got her start in the dog world working with rescue shelters and she is passionate about creating stress-free enivronments for dogs and their humans. After receiving her BA from UBC, she attended Good Dog Academy to become a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and is delighted to be a part of the East Van Dogs team. She believes that, by setting realistic goals and focussing on maintaining balance in your dog’s body and mind, your relationship with your canine companion can thrive.
